The link in the previous post contains details about the 5th annual Fin Feather, and Fur Food Festival (F5). It will be held on April 30th from 4 to 8 PM at Blackham Coliseum. Note the event does not conflict with Festival International this year. Event is basically a cooking competition with roughly 40 teams participating. The event supports the Steve Gleason Foundation which supports ALS patients. Funds raised go towards making life easier for those folks. 45 dollars allows you to partake of great food, drink, music and friendship. You also get the opportunity to bid on great auction items. There is no one who has ever attended this event who did not rave about how much fun it was. Virtually all the members of the committee (including Jake Delhomme) who put on this event are strong Cajun fans. If interested in tickets, send me a PM on this forum and I will see about helping you obtain some.

Note, first page of the attachment found in the link is basically a flyer with a brief description of the event. If any of you own businesses, the committee ask you consider printing it and displaying it in a visible spot for customers to see. We thank you for doing so.

This is a great event for a wonderful cause. Have had the pleasure of attending them here. Helps our local brothers and sisters battling this awful disease.
If you can, buy tickets. If you can’t make it, tell a friend.
