Can anyone explain what has happened to Emily Smith? I really expected her to have a fantastic sophomore year.

Don't know, I could speculate as to what may be part of her issue but won't. She needs to sit, and maybe get Soto a shot. Knox needs to be in right today to give us a threat at the plate.

It's not the umps, we have not adjusted to go with the pitch all weekend.

After being named freshman of the year in the SBC last year, I was really looking forward to her sophomore season. Unfortunately, like for a lot of players, she is having a sophomore slump. And, it doesn't look as though she will get out of it anytime soon, as she is 1 for 15 after sitting out the Southern Miss series.

Emily is having the worst soph slump that I have seen. It happens to many people. She had a good 2 strike approach when she got here. Now she has the fake bunt crap that forces her to rush to the plate with 2 strikes. That is not good.

Cajuns lose 7-5 and the sweep is complete. Extremely disappointing weekend for the Cajun softball team. It seems we are regressing at this point instead of improving.
