Well that style cost the Cajuns a win today. Runners at 2B and 3B with a run producer Hart at the plate and the Cajuns squeeze and get out at the plate instead of trusting your leading hitter on the club. Unbelievable.

SBC is a hitters league. Can't win games not trusting your lineup, especially your top hitters.

Come on guys. I am aware I don’t have to come here and read comments (let me get that out of the way) but how long are y'all going to beat a dead horse??

If anyone watches the current level of play the Cajuns are displaying on both sides of the ball and you continue to blame the losses on bunting and small ball you need to open your eyes.

The kids are not playing very well as a team and it has NOTHING to do with a damn bunt. Has anyone watched the “best Cajun hitter” swing the bat this weekend and her approach thus far?? Look, that’s not a dig at the kid, she is GREAT and they are allowed to be off at times but the lineup hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire on the last 2 games (as a whole).

Very little small ball if any in yesterday’s loss and crickets on how bad the plate awareness and approaches were. Lose today and instantly point out a squeeze bunt for a run that ULM made a play on for an out and BOOM, that’s why the team lost????

I won’t sit here and act like I know the reasons or have the answers but I can assure you BUNTING ain’t the reason

Poor coaching decisions are the reason. Bottom line. It's funny Hart got a hit in the next at bat. Down by three runs yesterday with runners on 1B and 2B with one out they let Williams a slapper hit and don't use Soto who it was said was the person to use in that situation yet when the time came she didn't go to her. Yesterday with runners at 2B with one out they pulled Knox for Watts another slapper. Coach plays panic ball. The game was tied 4-4, you know and I know she should have let Hart hit away. This kid leads the team in average, hits, slugging, homeruns, on base percentage, etc. You know the crazy part is they pull Otto and inserted Ferguson. ULM knew in the next 1-3 pitches the Cajuns would squeeze. The book is out on Habetz she is so predictable. I even told a few folks she is about to squeeze and it isn't going to work with the way the defense is set up and sure enough the Cajuns get burnt. In game management sucks and there isn't any other way to sugar coat it. The SBC is a hitting league for the the most part and most games can't be won playing small ball over and over.

Go back and read the comments on last night loss again. Our poor approach and hitters not making adjustments was mentioned. It either an inability by the players to adjust or coaching not helping our hitters to do so or both.
