Default Update on Cajun Baseball Transfers

I was curious how several former Cajun baseball players were doing after transferring.

Caleb Stelly, who transferred to Southern Miss is batting .196 with 0 HR and 2 RBI. He has zero extra base hits in 56 official plate appearances.

Luke Yuhasz, who transferred to South Carolina is batting .250 with 2 HR and 8 RBI in 36 official plate appearances.

There are a trio of former Cajuns at Southeastern Louisiana.

Ben Robichaux is batting .330 with 6 HR and 21 RBI in 88 official plate appearances.

Conner Cuff is batting .286 with 4 HR and 16 RBI in 91 official plate appearances.

Brooks Wright is batting .235 with 0 HR and 11 RBI in 68 official plate appearances.

Out of all these former players for the Cajuns Ben Robichaux is having the best season thus far. Cajuns could surely use a bat in the lineup with those stats. However, there is no way of knowing if Robichaux would put up similar numbers this season in a Cajun uniform, especially with the high-level competition the Cajuns have faced this season.

Can someone explain why these three left UL to go play ball in Hammond?

Not mentioning any names, and not specifically the ones at SLU, but most that left were basically told to leave.

Seeing the stats that were posted about some of them, they all must have gotten red-hot recently. I looked them all up a couple weeks ago and there were some ugly numbers.
