Sloppy Ragin' Cajuns lose middle game of Sun Belt series to Texas State

The roller coaster ride for the UL softball team continued Saturday afternoon at Lamson Park.

One day after hoping to build some momentum with a comeback win over Texas State, the Ragin’ Cajuns greatly aided the Bobcats’ offense with sloppy play and only got one hit before the seventh inning in a 4-2 loss.

The Cajuns dropped to 18-13 overall and 2-3 in league play, while Texas State is now 20-11 and 3-2. The rubber game of the series is slated for 1 p.m. Sunday.
