Fun fact: from a reddit tweet via a jay walker repost.
Only 5th time in ncaa history that all four final four teams are from the University of (insert state name).

Update: and from what i can tell it is only time that all four use a single letter, first letter of state name as a logo.

*although UCONN goes by such insteatd of Univ of Connecticut primarily, but their football helmets do often have just a C

Olivier Rioux in the portal, can you think of a better name to be a Ragin Cajun.
Tell him we have a hall with his name on it, if we still.do?

Rioux will always be a project. Someone will pay a lot for him, but options will be limited. There wasn't one team, IMHO, in the Sweet 16 that could meaningfully play him every game.

An offense that plays up and down or involves a lot of motion will never be a good fit for him. But he could be SBC good.

You give me 6'9" and athletic with a motor any day. That kid has some height obviously but I think it makes him a perimeter defensive liability, particularly in the pick in roll game up top.

Having said that, Zoom makes a good point in that a team like in the SBC could use that height. It will be interesting to see where he lands.

UCLA wins Women's basketball championship by 28 points. Men's semi finals were one sided. I was hoping for more competitive games. It got me to wonder what causes a top team to all of a sudden lay an egg in one of the biggest games of the year. Did they run out of gas? Is it because they are late teens or early 20's young men and women? Just curious.
