If you want to know why the Cajuns keep bunting with one out and a runner at first and runners at first and second with one out then check out this video for the answer.
She discussed it in last week’s presser also. My comment here is NOT to start a debate or a right vs. wrong regarding bunting but to illustrate my point in previous comments giving a different perspective.
At a minimum, this should demonstrate and highlight as to why from the outside things arent always what it seems. This is exactly why the golden rule is fans cheer, players play and coaches coach.
she gets it
Ridinsuicide, So awesome to see someone really gets it!!!

My apologies if I missed it in last week's presser. In this week's presser she stated she went to the bunt because the hitters kept popping up. When you have seen the same pitcher for the 4th-6th time over the course of two appearances, and you switch to the bunt because you think you have a better chance of getting a hit versus hitting away that sends a bad signal to your hitters that you don't believe in them being able to get base hits, and make adjustments after the 4th-6th time thru the lineup. She mentioned that she felt the team could score 8 runs in the last two innings. That was never going to happen bunting only, with outs already on the scoreboard.
