For reference the kid that I am talking about wants to play at UL, reads this site as do her parents, and she doesn't worry about outside noise as you shouldn't either. You need to learn the difference between negativity and honesty. It's apparent that you haven't visited the message boards for other schools. This site is mild compared to most. No player will ever not sign to play with UL because of this site. It comes with the territory of being a D1 athlete. These coaches and some players are making more money than me and you, so yes they are open to criticism. I will leave you with this. Parents, Coaches and Players not only read this site, they also post on this site. I have been a season ticket holder for 30 years, please don't tell me what I can and can't say on a message board. I have always said it's best that only fans get on this site but the reality is others view it.

No one ever said what you can and cannot say first off and you of all people should be able to handle another poster on here being negative toward your comments since you know thick skin and all. Secondly I had a D1 daughter in tennis so do not think I am not aware of chatter and being hard on athletes paid or not. I also coached for years so there is that too! I will spell it out slowly so you can understand what I am saying. 98% of what comes from you and very few others are negative comments yet not much positive at all even when they play well. If this game and team makes you soooo down why not take a break and come back when they are up to your standards.

Again for those to understand I have no problem with constructive criticism but do when you constantly beat them down! Lastly being paid or not means nothing and if you think you have special entitlements to disparage just because they get paid then you really need to look at your choices! You deserve nothing from them! Have a good day sir as we will take this series!

UL Softball has a very high standard. The staff and players will tell you that. The STANDARD IS THE STANDARD and that doesn't change for you and the reasons you gave. My STANDARDS are also high when you have and/or invested in the program for all long as I have. I also have no issues with anyone responding to my post as I have been on this site since April of 2005. No offense to tennis, but I have never seen anyone on a message board with Tennis related issues. Once again the fans are the paying customer.

Why would anyone want to come to UL with such a positive outlook spewed on here repeatedly (hopefully you get sarcasm)? If you do not think parents, coaches, players do not read comments here then you are on crack. Your CONSTANT negativity does nothing to help the program. Questioning a decision is one thing but everyday some on here is just miserable to read and makes it sound like we are O-fer. In 1 and a half year this team went from being decimated by Glasclown to being competitive and building a strong young foundation for the future. All in this new era of NIL! Again this is 2026 not 2006 and no coach has had to face what the new coaches has had to and are facing!!!

I do not remember saying that the girls get upset I only rember eluding to the perception some of you cast about the program but hey if you want to compare yourself to and be like LSU and want this forum to follow after Tiger Droppings that is great! I always strived not to be like them and thought of the UL fans to be a bit more classy but by all means post away guys. Again for those in the back I care less what you post as I am sure those girls could careless too, I just think every blue moon a positive comment would not hurt but hey you keep up the hard work!

Point and case they had a big win tonight and crickets from the dooms day squad. Had they lost I am sure the Ragin Droppings would be lit up with post! For the girls who read this Congrats and way to fight! Bring that same fight and energy the next two days!

Unfortunately it's a little like football ... the quarterback sneek for a TD on the tail end of a 99 yard yard drive makes the headlines and all the contributors on the first 98 yards barely get a mention.
