Im still excited about year 2 despite Jaxson's departure. Would've loved to see him stay , but it is what it is. Can't wait for next season.

He will not be the only one. Craig and I were aware of his decision when we recorded our podcast. We simply said the numbers don't add up without departures. The no. of people injured, people signed in the fall, and people being recruited for the spring are why some current players have to move on.

I didn't really care for the dunk at the end of the Georgia State game either (although if that would have been in the Ron Hunter days I would have been all for it). You are going to lose players to the portal every year these days as they look to improve their personal situation. I don't look at it as a slight to the program, school, or coaching staff at all anymore. Best of luck Jaxson, I enjoyed watching you play.
I don't think he played selfishly. I think sets were organized for him to take shots quite often. That was due to lack of offensive options with rest of squad at times. Recall he had the winning assist when Finister hit the three pointer at James Madison. Someone said they get jaded when people enter the portal. I understand that. However, we also bring in portal players.

Well, we knew some movement was inevitable but the idea is to not lose one of your top guys and possibly your top scorer in that scenario.
