From an athletic standpoint, the LA Tech addition is going to be ridiculously annoying

Well, bottom line Tech’s ineptness in leaving C-DOA is going to hit their budget one way or another.

All you who wanted that POS program in the SBC be aware. This is just the beginning of their follies. It’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault.

Fan opinions will always run the gamut.

This chain of events tells me more about the administration than anything else.

There was more talk on putting a lighted sidewalk along Cajundome Boulevard than there was about inviting Tech to the SBC.

LA Tech always has and always be nothing but Drama. They are already refusing to call us by our athletic brand name "Louisiana" and have us a UL Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns which we never use Athletically.

Then Dez and the team need to show up and beat them.

We've lost the last eight games to them, with only two of those games being competitive. Last two matchups: L 20-48 at home when we were all chest pumping about "payback", then L 14-43 the next season. It's been downright embarrassing.

What is it we used to say when our softball program was rolling? Make them say your name?

Well...we have that opportunity this season, and for the foreseeable future, in the sport with the most eyes. Let's not ____ the bed this Fall.

Not trying to find fault with our football schedule, it has a good cadence to it. Having said that it seems random we close the season with GA St three States over. Seems like settling on a year end rivalry tradition with either neighboring Arkansas St. or Southern Miss better defines a year end rivalry game for us and them. Ark St. closes with Troy & USM against Old Dominion which is also very random.
