Cajuns currently sit at 8 in RPI, although it’s still too early for that.

I said before the season began that going 9-9 pre-conference would be a solid result against this schedule. Well it’s now 12-3 with 3 more to play that are all winnable games. Getting 2 of the next 3 would be huge going into the conference portion of the season with 14 wins.

5 of those 12 wins have come against regional teams from last season, and another against a Missouri State team that has a really good chance to be there this year…along with the ones that were last season.

Even with Southern Miss and Coastal on the schedule, we needed a strong OOC schedule. First step is scheduling, second is actually winning those games. We are doing both. RPI will likely be at a high point after tomorrow though. We are putting ourselves in a great position going into conference play. Stay the course. Grind it out.
