The University of Louisiana baseball team toppled the No. 2-ranked and defending national champion LSU Tigers at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field on Wednesday.

The Ragin' Cajuns came away with a 7-2 win over LSU, sending the Tigers home with a tough loss.

"The crowd was electric," UL baseball head coach Matt Deggs said.
