Can we for the purposes of Ragin Pagin call her BNK?

What a win. A huge win come May if we keep it up.

We hit and that’s positive. Hoover giving up hits is okay. She’s been a warrior the past 2 weeks. BNK coming in and closing it out is massive. She’s been a star this year after an unassuming 2025. The talent was there, but what she’s doing this year is so cool. I’m a fan.

Cajuns saw four arms tonight and hit them all. Bodes well for Sunday. A sweep of A&M this weekend would be huge.

We had a great contingent of fans tonight. We were trying to be loud. Great job by the players and coaches.

BTW, this is a very nice facility for softball. Complete chairbacks.

I’d be shocked the gaggies give up 4 unearned again.

Sure, but 13 hits is very impressive. Lots of hard hit balls tonight.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team opened play at the Texas A&M Invitational on Friday, February 27 with a statement, earning a 6-1 win over Saint Mary's before knocking off No. 15 Texas A&M, 10-8, in front of 2,622 fans at Davis Diamond in Bryan-College Station, Texas.

The Ragin' Cajuns (13-6) extended their winning streak to three games – remaining perfect on the current week – and collected their second victory over a ranked foe in February (Feb. 15 vs. Ole Miss).

In the nightcap, the Cajuns built a 5-0 lead through three innings against the 15th-ranked Aggies, capitalizing on defensive miscues and timely extra-base hits. Brooke Otto (2-for-2, RBI) doubled twice and scored three times, while Cecilia Vasquez and Marceaux each delivered RBI doubles in a four-run third inning.

Holding a 7-0 lead through four, Louisiana withstood a Texas A&M surge. The Aggies (12-7) plated four runs in the fifth on a grand slam by Micaela Wark and added two more in the sixth to close within 8-6.

Louisiana responded in the seventh as Liscano doubled home a run and Miki Watts followed with an RBI single to extend the lead to 10-6.

The Aggies plated two in the bottom of the seventh on a two-run homer, but Noble (1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K) entered in relief and secured the final three outs for her second save of the season. Sage Hoover (3-2) earned the win after tossing six innings.

UL's offense generated six extra base hits off of Texas A&M pitching. The run production marked the team's fourth time reaching double digits and the most that the Aggies have allowed at Davis Diamond this season.

Friday's play began a series of 12 consecutive games away from home that keeps Louisiana on the road until the SBC home opener on March 20 vs. Texas State.

Even though most _____ on here even when they are winning I hope the girls and coaches know how much some of us appreciate the hard and the great way they represent us! I swear they could be undefeated and some would be gripping about something! Great win Cajuns!
