Louisiana saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end on Friday as UC San Diego stormed out to a 6-0 lead and claimed a 7-3 victory in the series opener at M.L. "Tigue' Moore Field at Russo Park.

With a couple exceptions.....our overall team batting avg is getting fairly low.

That had the potential to be a game changing inning. I still can’t believe that happened.

Two big positives tonight though were the performance of Cole Flanagan and that it looked like Donovan Lasalle is healthy and figuring it out.

Herrmann goes tomorrow and I expect a much better performance from the Cajuns. Have to get that game and then battle on Sunday to win the series.

I think it’s time to realize that Roman is NOT a Friday night guy.

...sure it’s baseball ………but the timely hits and the areas of hits were in their favor……yes and adding on the pop up screw ups and base running errors……we can be better but we ain’t bad if we take care of these fixable issues!
