The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team established the lead early and delivered the knockout blow in the sixth inning to defeat Northern Iowa, 10-2, in six innings on Tuesday, February 24 at Lamson Park.

The Ragin' Cajuns (11-6) scored in each of the first three innings to seize control before erupting for four runs in the sixth to end the game via the run rule.

Louisiana finished with eight hits and took advantage of three UNI errors in the six-inning win. Sage Hoover (3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K) started and set the tone in the circle with 3.0 scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out four.
