Two brothers from Kaplan were arrested in connection with burglarizing a business southwest of Kaplan.

According to Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Tee Brad’s Flying Service located at 10613 Farmer Road in Kaplan was burglarized on April 8.

Robert Meaux, 26, of 511 N. Frederick Street in Kaplan and his brother Derrick Meaux, 22 of 19336 Enie Road, in Abbeville broke into the business and stole approximately $10,000 worth of equipment. Items stolen included a pressure washer, generator, various drills, complete tool sets, and various chemicals.
