Exactly 3-4 years ago. We need it today. We should ALWAYS wear Louisiana for any road game and Cajuns for a home game. In a tournament, if we are the visiting team, wear Louisiana. Why do we do the opposite, especially in basketball and softball? We give in to the state schools every time. Today, we wore the Cajuns uni at home which was outstanding. Note that Maryland wore MARYLAND jerseys. It makes no sense if we are promoting Louisiana.

They are going to continue to waste money. Their basketball team is in last and can't imagine they'll put up with that for another season. So, there's a few million in a buyout.

The caliber of SEC teams remaining on our Schedule [Oklahoma x 2, aTm x 2 and LSU] is much, much stronger than the caliber of teams we have played so far. Throw in UVa from the ACC as well, and it is a brutal gauntlet. 2 wins from that group is unlikely, but not impossible. I would be delirious if we split with two of OU, aTm and LSU.

What to wear on game day is a decision probably made by players and coaches. In all likelihood, the name issue does not cross their mind for a nano second when making those decisions.
