So… we went 1-2 instead of what I thought we’d go… which was 2-1. Is the season over already, or do we still have a chance?

I’m sure very few will agree, but going 9-9 in the pre-conference schedule would be a very good result.

Take care of business in the midweek after that, and finish top 4 in SBC play.

That will have you in the regional conversation. All of that and 3rd in the conference would be a pretty strong resume.

The meltdown yesterday was obviously atrocious, but there was a lot of positive this weekend against a solid team that has a ton of experience and plenty of good returning players.

Hopefully some of the issues a few of the pitchers had were due to it being their first time on a Division 1 mound. That’s a real thing. We shall see what some of them look like moving forward.

Also, Brooks and Victorian should be back at some point, both of which have D1 innings under their belt (although not a ton).

This team has a chance to be pretty good. It’s VERY early.
