Wow! Just Wow! After an exhilarating come from behind win against an SEC team that played in the World Series last year, the Cajuns follow it up by losing to a SWAC team for the first time in program history.
Records available on line go back to 2000. In the last 26 years the Cajuns played 24 games against SWAC teams. Total runs, Cajuns 274-SWAC teams 14. That includes 6 games against Prairie View. Cajuns outscored them 76-2.
As good as the win against Ole Miss was, make no mistake about it, this is one of the worst loses in the history of the program.
Who would of thought the Cajuns would beat Ole Miss and lose to Prairie View? It would have been much more beneficial for the Cajuns to have lost to Ole Miss and beat Prairie View.
This should never, ever happen.. dropping one to PVAM. It's sad to see how far UL softball has fallen...
Give credit to Prairie View. They played a great game.
Coach left our starting pitcher in too long. She had too many walks. That lost is on this coaching staff.
Within a few hours, both stick teams injected doubt into their fan bases with gut wrenching ugly losses.
