Gerry Glasco (Softball, former): $111,381 (2024)

Guessing that was prorated to his June departure.

Maybe it should be added to the contract that if you leave and take players with you, you pay 25K per player.

He’d have emptied his bank account then. Surely the “blue blood” TTU would have covered the difference.

Still can't believe we extended Des until 2029 with one winning season. Wow.
He has not even won a bowl game or a SBC championship. Wild.

Not surprised at all. Look no further than Bob Marlin. I personally dont see the program winning more than 7, maybe 8 games the rest of his contract. I sure hope Im wrong.

when you see a good thing, it’s good to be a believer - I hear that Louisiana Football is on sound financial footing in reality regardless of what was reported.

I think Coach Des was a good buy at $705,000. He’s doing pretty good navigating through the portal with virtually no money.

He needs to do better. 6-7 does not cut it here anymore. That said, I am fully behind him still. I am just upset like most fans he was extended for so long.

nobody is immune from 6-7 - everybody is now immune from much better absent fortuitous circumstances and very hard work - fortuitous circumstances much more so than hard work as un-fortuitous circumstances can wipe out the benefits from fortuitous circumstances AND hard work in one fail swoop . . . moral to the story - get realistic with expectations or choose to live in repeated misery . . .
