Friday's Cajun debut couldn't have gone better for UL softball's transfer pitcher
To say UL transfer pitcher Julianne Tipton couldn’t have been more satisfied to the very core of her being after making her debut as a Ragin’ Cajun on Friday would still be a huge understatement to describe her state of mind.
As she carefully discussed every aspect of UL’s two victories – first the 6-3 win over Tulsa and then 8-7 walk-off win over Jacksonville State – a different reason repeatedly forced her to fight back tears as she took each new experience in.
