I think a number of things have come into play. First, due to unfortunate circumstances, we've had to reduce our rotation numbers but I think this has forced the ones playing to gel a bit more.
Second, we are shooting the 3 much better. We've gone from near dead last in 3 point percentage to 5th in the conference shooting 34%. That's not great but when we were around 30% a month ago or so, that's a big improvement and the last 4 games we've shot 50% each game.
Third, we're getting more from our bigs on both sides of the court. Todd Jones is asserting himself more on both sides and getting some baskets inside for us and Woodson is shooting out of his mind and giving us good hard minutes.
We're still statistically a poor rebounding team and to be honest, we're a poor defensive team when it comes to opponent FG and opponent 3pfg shooting but we're getting it done when we have to whether its key steals or some offensive rebounding to keep possessions alive. This team is actually fun to watch now.
