UL baseball picked to finish fifth in Sun Belt race with no players on preseason squad
One year after struggling through a 27-31 season, the UL baseball team was picked to finish fifth in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Cajuns, who did receive one first-place vote, finished with 126 points, narrowly edged by Marshall for the fourth spot at 129 points.
The Thundering Herd eliminated the Cajuns in the Sun Belt Tournament in May, then Marshall pitching coach Taylor Sandefur joined UL in the offseason.
