Saints to play first NFL game in France in 2026

French broadcaster RMC Sport reports that the New Orleans Saints will play the NFL's first ever game in France during Week 8 of the 2026 schedule

That can be, but isn't necessarily true.

The reason it seemed "adnauseum" is because of dual roles (call games, interview) and it inevitably went 'there' when it was lamented that interviewers failed to follow up or ask certain tough questions.

Turns out, that move was genius on a personal level, because one "game caller" was hired up, and I doubt he would have been if he looked for the negative.

The only caveat for 2026 (and I hope the athletic department wasn't this foolish) was if they sold "all broadcast rights."
