I was at the game and agree, they looked like a team that knew how to play together. It's been long time coming but you can see significant improvement. Hope they can continue playing this way and move up in the standings.

Basketball is not a “plug and play” sport. You can do it in baseball, but to become a good basketball team, the same group needs to work together for a good while. If we can keep improving & add the the guys that have been out and the new recruits, we could be really good next year.

This is also a very young team. I know it’s asking for a lot in this day and age but if we can keep the core group of players from this team along with the returning players from injury that would be a solid foundation to build on. Add to that an already strong recruiting class with a few more additions from the portal you could be looking at something special next year. Just my opinion

Progress is not linear. Steps back can occur occasionally but the overall movement can be positive with more consistent play. They could play as well in future games but not win without as many shots falling. Key is continuing to get quality looks. In time, a fair percentage will fall.

Get a W today and who knows what happens down the stretch. Top 4 seed is what you are working on getting for the tournament. Anything else is almost impossible to win it.
