I hope it was from an STM coach. Because they know it.

Cherpentier the Qb was before your time so we'll take it for that

If you were the color guy for Teurlings you'd know how to spell the school name

    Sonny was his dad.

Dane was a wide reciever at the time.

My recollection was as a sophomore he came in at QB and I said on the air that I though he had lots of potential and had "it."

Like I said I was wrong.

Obviously not, I talked about the game live, I didn't write about it.

I didn't work for Teurlings either, I worked for KPEL 14.20 just did color commentary for one whole season

    Before that KROF Abbeville

    Before that KSLO Opelousas.

    And others in between.

We all thought Walker Howard had "it" Boy were we wrong.
You just never know with these local QBs. We all have blinders on and want them to succeed so bad. We all show Partisanship towards our local guys. Hell we have one at Head Coach right now that we all wanted to succeed so bad. Book still being written, but it has not gone well for Coach Des thus far. Let's hope Coach Des gets over the hump and wins a bowl game this year.

This means coach Munoz is staying. I hope.

Coach son relationships can lead to fantastic success or player anomosity. If there is one good thing about the portal is anomosity no longer has to fester.

Yes, Alex is the son of Jorge Munoz. Jorge is the Cajuns TE coach and assistant head coach. He was the offensive coordinator during the Bustle years when Dez and Fenroy had the offense humming. I believe Jorge Munoz played QB in college. I watched a couple of Teurlings games online. Alex Munoz was an excellent HS QB. Could beat you with his arm and his legs. Great decision maker at that level. His team had an undefeated regular season and lost to John Curtis in the playoffs. Teurlings was dealing with some injuries at that time. I have no clue how he will do in college. I have heard some say he is too small to have success at that FBS level. I do think his skill set fits our offense better than those of Daniel Beale.
