This is EPA testing in their lab for toxic chemicals. Long term, finding alternatives to critter testing makes sense. Will take a while to find complete alternatives for pharmaceuticals, however. That’s our niche.
I know some on this board are well known researchers. I know some on this board are clueless about research. But if we aren’t competitive enough to remain R1 generally, just shut it down and go back to competing with McNeese and SLU. Because a lot of our amazing faculty will head out the door.
