The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns will begin their 2026 season facing Tulsa in the 40th annual Louisiana Classic, marking the start of head coach Alyson Habetz’s second year with the team.

The Cajuns ended the 2025 season with a record of 29-25, struggling particularly on the road with a 6-15 record. Their season concluded with a 6-1 loss to Coastal Carolina, eliminating them from the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. This also marks the first year since 1998 that the program did not qualify for the NCAA tournament
