Another quote blown out of proportion. None of the players had classes the last few weeks since school wasn't in session.

    That's "coaching" that's not talent.

No amount of money can buy you disciplined play.
And the guy that twitched is going to be a first round draft pick and was a first team All American considered the best tackle in the country. I'd say that's a little bit of talent and a disservice to the player to say that.

Could have just went to the locker room & call him later. But we waited until Mendoza was done with media interviews to talk to him in person. Fletchers dad passed away not long ago & we don't know what the IU player said before it happened. Many keyboard warriors are quick to condemn players based on a 6 second clip they see on social media.

You are totally misreading what I said. I was praising the O-Line but had to point out the anomaly or my praise wouldn't ring true.

    The twitch was an anomaly.

The O-Line was quality through and through, top to bottom left to right across the board.

You don't need talent to be disciplined in that regard.

No false starts (beyond the shoulder twitch) is a sign of superior coaching, not basic talent.

Can't understate the enormous value of the designed back shoulder throws and catches from Mendoza to Becker.

    Impossible to defend.

The only pair I ever seen do it better consistently was Jake Delhomme to Steve Smith.

How many false starts did Louisiana have in 2025?

    Coaching.

I didn't misread anything. You misrepresented what you later clarified but you said it pretty directly. This post seems to have a hell of a lot more context than the original one so maybe just start with this one??
