With no more coaching limits, we really should never hear the argument that QB2 or QB3 couldnt get enough reps in practice.

Offer some of those that are stuck in the portal, with nowhere to go, Grad Assistant slots

Analytics at the top level may be a moving target, but at our level the inefficiency is clear. If the transfer portal leaves over 6,000 athletes without homes each year. We don’t need to chase five‑stars or outbid Georgia and Alabama; our edge is identifying the overlooked players who fit our system and can be developed into impact contributors. By focusing on that middle tier, we can consistently compete with programs like Troy or Arkansas State, building a sustainable pipeline of talent while the bluebloods fight over the most expensive names.

Agree, it took many years for the obsolesence, so yes, go for it now, as we are in year to year or just 4 yewr cycles

I wouldnt be surprised if you could have longer spring practice, or a separate spring practice window by just having a company sponsor it, and call it an NIL open house or something, or barnstorming like the harlem globetrotters or negro leagues, have it at the companies locations. I mean after all ncaa cannot limit NIL

It really is simple: NIL opens the door for corporate sponsorships that go far beyond just slapping a logo on a jersey. A name like Lunch Winnfield is NIL gold the branding potential alone makes him a walking campaign. Think about the “chicken wing approach”: local restaurants, food chains, and regional companies can tie their products directly to athletes with memorable names or personalities, creating instant recognition and fan engagement. “This actually gives a chance for community support” NIL can turn spring practices into sponsored showcases, barnstorming tours at corporate locations, or even branded community events where athletes connect with fans while companies get authentic exposure. Every athlete becomes a potential ambassador For programs at our level, this isn’t just about competing with the big schools, it’s about building sustainable partnerships where athletes benefit, companies gain visibility, and the school creates a culture of innovation around NIL.

The Best Stop or Billys can do something like this with any one of our players!! Not just the one above!

Its like here is your sign UL!! Couldnt be easier.

    Use your imagination!!!

    F. West has taken his name out of the transfer portal. Good news for the Cajuns. Need depth on the defensive line.
