Yup a new one. If this happens college sports will die a slow death. Money will eventually dry up, and future fan creation just got tougher.

Santa Clara has a similar situation where the courts ruled in the player’s favor.

Greed ruining it all. It’s just like the vast majority of lottery winners, they’re broke in no time. Same thing will happen with NIL once they can no longer access getting “their bag”. And parents drive a lot of this.

And AFA student fees for athletic programs. Try passing one now. Can see a reversal coming at some point with this happening.
