I wonder where this team would be if it had Jamyron Keller and Sean Elkington who have been hurt all season. Keller was playing well in the first 2 games and Elkington is a big bodied 6’8 235 forward with some college experience.

Team is 5 and 15 now. My guess is they would have 10 victories with those 2 guys. We have had the lead in the 2nd half in every conference game but Troy this season of which 4 were losses. That was also the case in 5 non conference games which were defeats. Therefore there have been a total of 9 games blown that could have been victories. 2 experienced guys especially a seasoned point guard could have enabled the team to finish games that the guys playing now have generally been unable to do so. Hopefully they can build on yesterday in regards to finishing. There is one other point to consider however. Yesterday, only 9 guys played due to the injuries. Many coaches believe 9 is the perfect rotation number. Earlier this season, the rotation seemed to be haphazard with perhaps too many guys seeing time. Add three more players to (Lewis out now due to injury) the rotation and more mistakes would be possible. Hopefully, next season Coach White figures out the correct rotation much earlier in the campaign.

Well if we are in fact reducing the rotation, maybe they can talk to Lavergne and reduce his 3 point shooting attempts. This guy, seemingly, shoots us out of games at times. I know that we are not the best shooting team in world but he is second in 3 point attempts but is literally the worst percentage shooter of our rotation guys, by decent margins. I've found that he's much better at putting the ball on the floor and hitting mid range shots but if we could give some of his attempts per game to Mejia, Woodson and Finister, I'd bet our numbers would go up.
