If I read it right, he admitted he didn’t utilize his NIL $$ the way he should have this past offseason because he thought he had recruits locked up without it.

Look I am a Cajun fan through and through, whether it is football or tidily winks and I do understand the frustration with some of the "Olympic sports and women sports/non-revenue generating sports". But as fans we should want the best possible product to be put on the field every day.

Just from a money flow standpoint I struggle to see how a sport can expect to participate in NIL if it doesn't bother to charge for tickets.

Use whatever ticket money you can muster over the course of a season for NIL if you have to.
