How can it blow up? Coach is fired mid season, new coach hired from another university. Players can “quit” to protect against injury mid to late season to follow coach, and an extra year of NIL.

That will be ok, until like this year, it impacts a P2 program. Hypothetically, a team could get ravaged and have to shut it down.

When you have a guy like Ty Simpson getting an offer from Miami and Chambliss fighting in the courts for eligibility, that’s because both will see more NIL money than they’ll see in a rookie deal.
