RK specializes in economic development and supports Athletics, i think he will take us where we need to go given his expertise, work ethic, love for UL and leadership skills. dude is impressive!

Dr. Kolluru has shown to be very good at what he does, raise money and awareness for research at UL. I'm unsure what to to think oh how he will lead the University as President. I need to hear more from him publicly. I hope he's a true supporter on Athletics and growth of our brand nationally. We have been losing ground and need someone strong to turn our Athletics around, especially centered on the Football Program.

Dr. K is a nice guy? Ask folks on campus. Esp those having to do two or more jobs.
He more collegial than nice. Nice in the business world is not considered a good trait. Dr. K will hold all accountable and lots don’t like that. He will support athletics but again accountability will be demanded.
I think he is trusted by the powers in BR and is well known among the purse strings holders in DC.
I think his vision and drive will move us forward. Not just be a caretaker. Ad much as I love TJoe, he was not as engaged as he was before Gail died. I think part of our $ issues came from that withdrawal from the details. That’s just my opinion. No other basis. But I am excited about Dr. K

I am just excited that they didn't pull from the same old Lafayette Guard for the first time in a while.

It seems like he will do a great job.

Seems some of the leftists in the FB comments don't like it because Dr. Kolluru is a realist who understands the oil & gas industry is here to stay and in demand worldwide for at least few more decades.

UL/T-Joe pulled the school to the left, how did that work out? 25M in the hole...

T Joe was just following his mentor. As the Fossil was following his.

My biggest desire with RK is I want to see him break this trend.

Given selling assets is the route to fixing the budget issue, it’s very concerning. Can’t pull the trigger and cut where the problems exist. Obviously at this point, it’s not sports ball as “The Current” wants you to think it is.
