The baseball hire was who the vast majority of the fans wanted.

The softball hire, kind of the same but under the gun time wise. Probably the most fan appeasing choice on short notice.

Understood but we cannot have a 2026 like 2025. Especially we all know how much we are in debt which was hidden from us until now. Maggard is on thin ice in my opinion. A shame because I really like the guy and he has over seen some of the most successful Atheltic years at UL including getting the stadium done(well at least half). He seems to be distant lately.
Maybe the budget will be balanced, we start winning again in the Big 4 and he is able to hang on, but sometimes a fresh new start is what is needed in today’s college athletic departments.

baseball has made regionals 3 of the last 4 years...I dont understand where this comes from with Deggs, at least not in regards to results.

I spilled what I knew about zylan perry. I also spilled what I heard about Steven blanco. The blanco thing has not come through. But I was dead on with zylan. I also predicted that prince malbrue would come home.

Last year of his contract. Post season is the expectation every year. If he doesn't make the post season this year, I Just don't see Deggs getting a new contract. Being Realistic.

Please predict 8-9 more portal signings to come......HS are nice but we need ready to play and compete starters desperately.

The ones we had were 6-7 and let's be honest with ourselves.....our 6 wins were mostly against some very bad teams. We need at minimum a dozen potential.starters from the portal.
