Men's Tennis: Louisiana Captures Win over FGCU in Season Opener
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Tennis team came away victorious in its Spring 2026 season opener claiming a 4-3 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, Jan. 10 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.

Very nice win to start the season, but todays match is a big step up in competition as they face a UCF team that was the National #15 seed in last years NCAA tournament and made it to the Sweet 16 with wins over the University of Miami (FL) and the University of Florida, before falling to the national #2 seed in TCU who lost to the national champion Wake Forest Deamon Deacons in the championship match.
UCF finished last year 23-9 including a 6-1 victory over UL last season.
