Not trying to be crude towards players but the reality is if anyone was outstanding this year fan loyalty would not be recognized. It would be hit the market time.

Amazing that people think that all money raised is being used specifically for this roster. I’ve heard the term million dollar roster thrown around a lot lately for this years team in condescending ways.

So what is it - how much NIL was spent on this roster - how much is available for next year - where did the money come from - inquiring minds want to know

The issue is not the spending of the NIL money. It's the big talk about making the NCAA tournament and being a future final 4 team. He guaranteed the tournament birth this year. That was obviously a poor decision and it turned off a number of people, including past players.

I will not comment on the coaching situation. I will say the way Troy played yesterday is very impressive. The way they swing the ball to get open looks is the way any teams hope to play. They may have set a record for made threes in one game in the Dome. Many of those came on second shots. I don't know if I have ever seen a team dominate us on the glass the way the Trojans did yesterday. They seemed to want the basketball more on missed shots. Effort has not been a problem until now, execution was. Effort was an issue yesterday.

I touched on this a couple pages back. I actually enjoyed watching Troy play. They had 25 assists in the game with nobody scoring more than 13 points I believe. They were a machine. We could only hope to emulate that style of play.
