St. Mary Parish Daily Incident Log - April 19, 2010:
Wendall R. Hines 17 yoa of 1272 Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette was arrested on 4-16-2010 at 9:12 am for Battery on a School Teacher. Deputy working at the St. Mary Parish Alternative School in Verdunville was walking student back to his table in the cafeteria when he committed a battery on a teacher sitting at the table. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2500.00 bond at this time.
Benjamin S. Hernandez 31 yoa of 130 West Syls Lane, Amelia was arrested on 4-16-2010 at 9:34 am for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Lawful Presence in the United States. Deputy was patrolling
Lake Palourde Roadin Amelia when he conducted a traffic stop on above suspect vehicle for having no windshield. During investigation it was learned that suspect was driving illegally in the United States. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.



Destini Poole 23 yoa of 608 Yvonne St., Apt D., New Iberia, La. was arrested on 4-16-2010 at 12:37 pm for
Improper LaneUsage and Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 90 in the Morgan City area, when above suspect vehicle was observed to swerve into the opposite lane. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and learned that suspect was also driving under suspension. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.



Colby W. Babino 23 yoa of 610 Robert St., Franklin was arrested on 4-16-2010 at 4:25 pm for
Improper LaneUsage and Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 182 in the Morgan City area, when suspect vehicle was observed to cross the center line and a traffic stop was conducted. During investigation it was learned that suspect was driving under suspension. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.



Alvin Robinson Jr. 35 yoa of 905 ½ Clothilde St., Morgan City was arrested on 4-16-2010 at 9:40 pm on a warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Deputy was called to
Grace St.in Siracusa in reference to a standby. Upon Deputy’s arrival suspect was located and a warrants check was conducted with suspect being placed under arrest on warrant and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.



Jason J. Olivier 27 yoa of 505 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 12:05 am on a warrant for Terrebonne Parish for Failure to Appear on the charge of Speeding. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 182 in the Amelia area, when he conducted a traffic stop on above suspect. During investigation it was learned that suspect had a warrant for his arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $300.00 cash bond and was later released.
Kenneth Boudreaux Jr. 23 yoa of 328 E. 19th St., Larose, La. was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 2:12 am for Simple Battery. Deputy was patrolling the Amelia area, when he was flagged down by a subject outside Sandi’s Bag and Grill in reference to a disTurbinece. Deputy was speaking with the owner when an altercation ensued with above suspect committing a battery upon another subject. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $500.00 bond and was later released.
Anthony D. Richardson Jr. 28 yoa of 119 Domino St., Patterson was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 10:34 am for
Improper LaneUsage and Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was patrolling Hwy 90 in the Patterson area, when he observed suspect vehicle cross the center line and conducted a traffic stop. During investigation it was also learned that suspect was driving under suspension. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.



Alfred J. Turner 24 yoa of 902 Park St., Patterson was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 12:34 pm for Careless Operation and Driving Under Suspension. Deputy was called to Jesse B. Hayes Boat Launch in Patterson in reference to an accident that occurred near the area. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned that suspect vehicle was traveling behind a vehicle pulling a boat when he didn’t observe the vehicle slowing down to turn and slid into the back of boat trailer. During investigation it was also learned that suspect was driving under suspension. Suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.
Gregory P. Johnson 50 yoa of 101 Lori Lane, Patterson was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 9:42 pm for Domestic Abuse Battery. Deputy was called to the Patterson Truck Stop in reference to a battery complaint. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from victim that she returned home when she was confronted by her husband and they began arguing, with him committing a battery upon her. Deputy went to suspect’s residence and conducted an investigation. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
Jason P. Daigle 29 yoa of 905 Pete St., Patterson was arrested on 4-17-2010 at 11:30 pm for DWI. Deputy was called to Hwy 182 and
Cleveland St.in Patterson in reference to assisting with a possible drunk driver. Upon Deputy’s arrival contact was made with above suspect and alcoholic beverage was observed upon his person. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and transported to Berwick Police Department to run on the Intoxilyzer 5000. Suspect had a test result of .081g%. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.



Mark Henslee 44 yoa of 4724 Irish Bend Road, Franklin was arrested on 4-18-2010 at 12:12 am for Domestic Abuse Battery. Deputy was called to above location in reference a domestic disTurbinece. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from victim that she and suspect were arguing when suspect committed batteries upon her. Suspect had left the scene and was possibly enroute to
116 Judy Lanein Patterson. Suspect was later located at above residence and an investigation was conducted. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.



Bruce Rentrop 39 yoa of 349 Hwy 663, Morgan City was arrested on 4-18-2010 at 2:17 am for Failure to Signal, Open Alcoholic Container and warrants for Failure to Appear on the charge of Speeding and warrant for Issuing Worthless Checks. Deputy was patrolling the Amelia area, when he observed suspect vehicle failure to use signal and conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 182 and Frontage Road. During investigation an open alcoholic container was located in the vehicle. It was also learned of warrants for suspect’s arrest. Suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1783.50 bond and was later released.
Denise Mabel Aucoin 29 yoa of 210 Mars Road, Bayou Vista was arrested on 4-18-2010 at 10:20 am for Hit and Run Driving. Deputy was called to Hwy 90 near the CalumetBridge in reference to a single vehicle accident. Upon Deputy’s arrival vehicle was located with no driver. Deputy went to suspect’s residence and located owner. After investigation above suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.
NewtonJ. Gaudet 61 yoa of
114 Arnold St., Amelia was arrested on 4-18-2010 at 6:28 pm for Reckless Operation of a Vehicle and Attempted Cruelty to Animals. Deputy was called to112 Arnold St.in reference to a cruelty to animal complaint. Upon Deputy’s arrival it was learned from complainant that above suspect swerved his vehicle in attempted to run over his cat. Deputy went to suspect’s residence and conducted an investigation. Suspect advised that his neighbor’s cat was near the property line and he swerved his vehicle in an attempt to hit the cat. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $2000.00 bond and was later released.



Arturo Garcia 28 yoa of 111 Lincoln Dr., Patterson was arrested on 4-18-2010 at 7:25 pm for Off Road Vehicle Prohibited on the Roadway. Deputy was patrolling the Patterson area, when he observed above suspect riding a four wheeler on the sidewalk then suspect crossed Hwy 182 near
Laura St. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and after investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-29-2010.
