Just the appearance of doing a national search would have paid dividends.

Well, they aren't coaching against each other tonight so I'm not sure and since you rarely have an actual point its up to us to assume.

If there was a national search, I guarantee it wouldn't have been Des picked to be HC. He did not have any valuable qualifications and had little experience.

1. we weren’t getting anyone of that caliber

2. NIL and free transfer is what’s making us irrelevant, not coaching

3. Truth be told Levi Lewis made us relevant despite coaching

Des was hired for the wrong reasons. No proof he could keep the culture, when he didn't have any experience at running any college program. Des was the easy hire. He cannot evaluate talent, he cannot obtain talent, he cannot coach an offense and he can't generate any interest from fans. Total failure. Until we get a real coach, this program will be unseen.

what was Louisiana’s record under Des in 2024 - 10-4 7-1 - pretty darn good success for such an incompetent coach as you describe
