not so and Turbine even agreed
my position all along has been that DES is not as bad a coach as some on RP make him out to be especially as he is growing into his college head coaching experience and the jury is still out on exactly how good a Sunbelt level coach he will eventually turn out to be - but he will be given more opportunity here no matter the sentiments of a few who post here
and
Napier is not nearly the coach he is raved to be here especially considering his vast levels of coaching experience prior to coming to Louisiana and we will now see whether his head coaching experience in the SEC has made him a better coach than he was in the Sunbelt or whether he is just a pretty good Sunbelt level coach who was darn lucky to have Levi Lewis and some offensive linemen who developed above expectations here and remained during Napiers tenure without free transfer and NIL which DES has always had to deal with
and yes, because of how vocal the few have been against DES and in favor of Napier I have had to use some bias in favor of my position to place these coaches closer in coaching skill levels than anyone here wants to admit
finally, Levi proved out to be a very good Sunbelt level quarterback
Woolridge definitely had the physical qualities to be in a position to play at at a higher level
