No, DES is constantly referred to as a BAD coach here - I say no bad coach has ever been honored as coach of the year
Napier is regarded here as the best coach in the universe and my position is that although he has won coach of the year in the Sunbelt twice, all that says is that he is a good Sunbelt level coach
So, my position is that DES is under regarded as a competent coach here and Napier is over regarded here with respect to his competence - both are and should be regarded as decent Sunbelt level coaches
there are NO conflicts in my stances
I approve of this message and agree to lend my story to you for your book of short stories
and we will see again what competencies Napier has as a sunbelt head football coach - albeit with much more financial support this time - maybe this stint will shed more light on type of fans Louisiana has as opposed to Napier’s competency as a head football coach

Have actually been NATIONAL AP COTY. Just saying
This isn't about Napier for me it's about on the job training.
If it were, about Napier, I would say his former boss has shown a proclivity for training his assistants to be future head coaches.
Napier has not shown that he can trust his former position coaches to jump levels.
For me it's about hiring someone who was untrained for the job he was given.
Can he grow into the roll? Perhaps but Louisiana doesn't have that luxury. No school does. Yet they've granted it.
