I was reading an article on Nautilus (link at end) about child prodigies and people who exhibit greatness much later in life.
It got me thinking about players who peak in high school and players who peak in the second half of their college career.
While the window is only 4 years or so it explains why the P4 gets the best of the best out of high school, only to discard them and grab a player out of the portal who they previously didn't look twice at.
If that happens between P4 and G6 the same has to be true elsewhere
There has to be a truckload of late bloomers at FCS and DII ranks that Louisiana can recruit.
