Not much left. We have a pretty good looking kid from Holy Cross coming in but we're thin.

JJ Garner, Darrel Smith, Steven Blanco and the holy cross RB.

The first two we know nothing about and Blanco? There's still a decent chance he leaves too

Not sure of their status or intent but based on the Ventures Bowl depth chart, maybe Darell Smith and Steven Blanco?

This is why the Swilley transfer was confusing for me. Unless he was told by the coaches he wouldn't get much play here, why leave now when our top 2 and maybe 3 RB's are leaving for the portal. If there ever was a time to compete for playing time in a program that likes to run 3+ in its rotation, this is the time.

We definitely need Blanco to stay.

The little I've seen of Blanco is very positive. He's one of our bigger or biggest RBs and for a young guy, has lots of patience weaving thru traffic or finding a hole to gain positive yards. I hope he stays, but if he doesn't, decent RBs are not hard to find in these parts. Decent RBs look better when there are holes to run thru...so better to find and keep OL!

He fits the profile of our #2 back which has traditionally been a bigger back ala Ragas and Bill Davis. He's not as explosive as either but he's a solid back who could be productive.
