Silly me. I guess nobody is going to PV A&M (or anywhere now with rapid multi transfers) to play school
Calipari brings up some great points here
Arkansas HC John Calipari pitched a solution for the transfer portal situations back in July. What do you think of the idea?

That will never pass constitutional muster either . . . when the Supreme Court made making money a constitutional right all of the fundamentals - all of them - did I say ALL OF THEM that were behind the concepts of student athletes set up by the NCAA went right out the door w8th the BAG MAN . . . Gee’s, the Bag Man should have the biggest beef because he became unemployed as a result of the declaration of that constitutional right
While the NCAA can no longer encroach upon an athlete's ability to transfer to any other school, seems like there could be a tie in to academic credit hours accumulated to permit player eligibility. Minimum 24 credit hours freshman year, 48 hours by end of sophomore year and so forth. Not a high standard but at least put some credibility in the process. Transferring from one college to another typically results in loss of credit hours, too. Maybe a rule similar to this is already in place but wonder if enforced. Maybe slows down this transfer portal free for all for what defines the difference between a college athlete and a pro athlete.
IMO, the NCAA is letting ridiculous things happen to force Congress' hand.
They already have that and arent enforcing....
