Most of the players listed as in the portal have announced their intentions to transfer...others are there per the coaching change window.

That was kind of my point. And Fite came in as a highly rated prospect, or at least highly rated for us. He played in every game this season and was likely going to be a starter or at least heavily in the rotation.

Losing any experience when you haven’t proved the ability to find better talent in portal purposely would be a hell of a decision.

That's how they look at UL -- both the players and the people that are 'advising' them on their life decisions. We're a minor league team where you can get some experience and game film before ultimately transferring to a real school.
