Gee, ULM has the state patch on the coaching staff sweaters.
ULM crowd makes Marlin’s last crowds look massive.

Everybody needs a ulm in their life. It’s kinda like when I’m feeling down I make a trip to Walmart and people watch. Then I realize I really don’t have it that bad
A lot of ulm people at Walmart….
Didn't bother to watch and likely won't but just a few things stick out. Mainly we finally hit shots. We actually shot 40% from 3pt land and we did it more efficiently only taking 15 shots. Still fouling WAY too much as we allowed them to shoot 33 free throws. We must have matched up better with a small lineup because Evans, Woodson and Ratliff all played under 20 minutes.
It is actually worth watching. Our big guys still got outrebounded. ULM has size but not necessarily athletic guys. There have been other games in which we played just as well as today without the desired result. Answer is simply because Cajuns made some shots. In some of the losses, the misses came from shots more open than those made today. Hopefully that continues and today was not an anomaly. Ball handling was excellent today with only 6 turnovers committed. As far as the fouls go, many of those came when Cajuns pressured the perimeter from their zone. Warhawks then took advantage by driving to basket where the fouls occurred. Warhawks made 19 threes vs USA but just 6 today. Cajuns made it a point to run them off the 3 point line. Difference from Thursday night was the Cajuns got some calls as well. They need to do a better job of knocking them down of course.
One more point. ULM's leading scorer is Khrystan Lewis. He had 8 threes vs USA. I think Cajuns held him to 2 today. If the name sounds familiar it is because he had signed with us before Coach Marlin was released. Coach Zimmerman took him along when he became lead assistant at ULM. He would be one of our better players had he stayed with the Cajuns.
