Not being mean, but had no idea they were playing today too. Up against the CFP and the NFL.

You guys always bring this up as if it's a recruiting tool -- "come here and yoU'LL get plenty of playing time!"

The majority of high school athletes would likely rather go to a P4 school and ride the bench rather than come here and play.

They want to make the video at the table, picking from hats from LSU, Texas, etc. They want to go to the big school with the insane amenities for athletes. They want to go to the big campus with bigger parties and girls everywhere chasing the next pro athlete.

UL campus life sucks. The best thing it ever had was McKinley Street and we let a bunch of Karen's nuke it. Now its just a small school with not much going on, and an athletic program with 5-6k hard-core fans.

You have several things going on in your post. What is dumb, what was, and what is.

Right. Even if the $ is there, you acquiesce to the haves and cement yourself as a have not. We all know they want it that way too.

Heck, p4s get blown out just the same. It’s just easier for the talking heads to say “look, these schools don’t belong.” Truth is there are only about 10-15 schools out of the 130+ that have a realistic chance. That leaves out more than 3/4 of the p4.

The issue a lot of these kids have is that they all think they are good enough to play at a big school when lots of them are not but make no mistake, they are not satisfied sitting the bench at a big school rather than playing at UL. See Walker Howard. See Fitzgerald West. See any player that has come here from a larger school. They come here because of particular coaches and the ability to play

How can anyone disagree with Saban??
There is no reason whatsoever for a G5/mid major to be in the 12 team playoffs. Tulane and JMU are so outclassed it’s absurd. It’s a different level of football.
They should have their own playoff
