had UL kicked three field goals on its first three drives, it wouldn’t have needed a touchdown to win the game on the final drive.
    2. Team is gutsy

    3. Defense did its part
The team that makes the most mistakes, and in this case three turnovers, normally loses the game! And that is what exactly what happened here!

Gutsy, but fumble and interception cost us the game. He could barely walk and we didn't replace him with Walker? Redzone play calling of endzone pass on 4th down when we just needed a yard rushing was on Desormeaux. He seems to keep making strange calls like this every game. Losing two bowl games to 1st year FBS schools in Jax State and Delaware who share the same NIL and portal issues as we do, leaving us 6-7 for 3 out of 4 years is sad. Combine that with men's and women's basketball that are 1-21 combined has UL athletics at a new low level. We don't avg. 15,000 in football and next year will be worse. Problem is we can't afford to hire new football and women's basketball coaches and our men's basketball coaching hire is highly suspect. I don't remember when UL athletics overall was this bad.

Starting the year with an injured reciever who wasn't himeslf and who couldn't catch is how the year began.

Kinda fitting to close it out with a quarterback who wasn't himeslf.
