Would having three home games non conf be better to try to build attendance momentum
First of all I'm not opposed to traveling, but it has been the excuse that eliminating Tech from non conference games will save travel money.
I might but not next year.
USC, Charlotte.
The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns and Charlotte 49ers have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2026 and 2032 seasons, FBSchedules.com has learned. A copy of the football game contract with the University of North Carolina Charlotte was obtained from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette via a state public records request.
The article says Charlotte did the heavy lifting in this deal.
I wonder where Maggard was looking before he was contacted by Charlotte.
From a few days ago....Additionally, to make up for the lost home game with Ole Miss, Charlotte's road contest at Louisville scheduled for Sept. 26, 2026, has been canceled and is currently an open date.... so they actually cancelled on a p4? It doesnt say why the ole miss game moved location though...
Oh boy, another ESPN Bottom Ten permanent resident.
